Before you consider adopting a pet, remember: IT'S A LIFETIME COMMITMENT! Meaning: You give it the very best care possible and love it for it's ENTIRE life. You DO NOT give it up because: you're moving, you have children, your new boyfriend/girlfriend doesn't like it, it gets old or sick, etc. You wouldn't throw out a human kid for these reasons, so don't throw out a pet for these reasons!!
